Design Engineering co-teacher Dr. Murakami broke her leg skiing over spring break (2019). The class decided to design and build her an electric wheelchair so she could make it to the Lindenbaum art building, where we have class. The students pulled together and created a working electric wheelchair (the Murakami 2000) in about four weeks. 

Dr. Murakami is now back on her feet, and the wheelchair will be available for injured students and staff to use.
